5 Reasons Why
Gamers Love CEC Events
1. No Team Required
Aren't already a part of an existing team? No problem. The Collegiate eSports Connection is the only professional eSports event organizer in the world that is open to solo players! How does it work? Come to an event alone or with a few friends and represent your university. Then the CEC will match you with other students attending your university to form a team.
2. Coaching from MVPs
If you are selected by the judges at any CEC event as an MVP, we'll offer you a $120 award to stay at the event for an extra hour and coach other CEC players. Other aspiring eSports players can pay a $15 fee to get a 1 match coaching session from any MVP. No other eSports event organizer makes it this easy to get expert eSports coaching, compete with the best, build eSports networks, and create long-lasting friendships.
3. Win Cash Prizes
First-place through third-place teams can win prizes at all CEC events ranging from $500 to $100,000. Event tickets are also affordable ranging from $8 to $29 per player.
4. College eSports Events
Across New England
The Collegiate eSports Connection hosts events across the North East USA at universities including Harvard University, Boston University, UMass Boston, Northeastern University, Tufts University, Brown University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Emerson College, Umass Amherst, University of Connecticut, Penn State, New York University, and more.
5. Many Choices in Games
We have tournaments for all the popular eSports titles. Whatever genre you're interested in, there's an event for you! Games we offer tournaments for include but aren't limited to Counter Strike Global Offensive, League of Legends, DOTA2, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty, Super Smash Bros, Project Cars, Pokemon, Fifa, Speedrunning, and more!
