All incoming SGEDU staff will go through a thorough training to ensure all staff feel prepared for each course.

SGEDU Teachers facilitate in-person courses at various schools in the Greater Boston Area. All course curricula is provided to you so you don't have to plan lessons. Each course will have anywhere from 10 to 20 students enrolled. You will be expected to show up at the job site 30 minutes before the program starts to prepare all the equipment and supplies for the students. You will also be expected to drop off all necessary equipment to the school before classes start. There will be a designated storage spot on-site for drop-off. You will be expected to clean up the classroom exactly the way it was before you arrived and put all equipment back into storage at the end of each class.

Applicants will need to get a CORI background check, get fingerprinted, and provide a receipt 2 weeks before classes start.
